This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Awedience web application ("App"), which provides analytics and audience insights for digital creators across social platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and others.

- Refresh connected platform tokens and sync analytics in the background while a connection is active
- Improve product features and user experience
- Communicate with you (e.g., support, updates)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
3. How We Share Your Information

4. Third-Party APIs and Services
When you connect Awedience to a third-party service (e.g., YouTube), your data is subject to both our Privacy Policy and the third-party's own terms and policies.
- We use the YouTube Data API Services
- By using this integration, you agree to the Google Privacy Policy
- You can revoke Awedience's access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google Security Settings page
- We use Meta's Instagram APIs for connected Instagram analytics and request read-only permissions for account identity and insights
- You can disconnect Instagram from the Awedience Channels page or revoke Awedience's access from your Meta account settings
5. Data Security
We take security seriously. Measures include:
- Encrypted storage of sensitive data (e.g., OAuth tokens)
- Redaction of access tokens, bearer tokens, authorization headers, client secrets, and refresh tokens from provider logs
- HTTPS across all endpoints
- Limited employee access to production systems
- Regular monitoring and auditing
However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage users to use strong passwords and revoke third-party access if suspicious activity is detected.
6. Data Retention
- We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
- You may request account deletion at any time by emailing: support@awedienceapp.com
- Revoking access to a connected platform will stop future data sync, but historical data may remain unless deletion is requested.
- Disconnecting Instagram stops future background refresh and sync attempts unless you reconnect the account.

You may have rights under data protection laws, including the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data
- Correct or update your information
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
